Welcome to Mornoble Dachshunds.

Located in Perth, Western Australia

Our line has been established from a long line of Champion Dachshunds. Here at Mornoble we pride ourselves on breeding ANKC Pedigree Dachshunds to the breed standard. Raising beautiful companion and show confirmation dogs. We hope you enjoy our site.

Mornoble Kennels is owned by myself – Ann Rushby – and is situated in Perth, Western Australia. My mother Marie was also originally involved in
the kennel.

I have been involved with showing and breeding dogs since I was ateenager, which was a long time ago.

Originally our breed involvements were Basset Hounds and Dobermanns – a breed that is still close to my heart. In the past twenty years,
“Mornoble” has concentrated on Dachshunds – both miniature and standard long haired.

Over the years we have also had an English Springer Spaniel and a lovely Pharaoh Hound, who lived her life out at Mornoble after being retired from
the showring.

As a breeder I aim to produce dogs that are structurally sound with steady outgoing temperaments and are suitable as family pets or the show ring.

I am very involved in the administration of the dog world, currently being the elected President of the Canine Association of WA.

When I am not preoccupied with my dogs and shows, I enjoy gardening (often making repairs where the four-foots have created havoc), the movies,
catching up with and dining with friends with a nice glass of wine.

THE BEGINNINGS

In establishing the line sof my Standard Long Haired Dachshunds, I have been fortunate in being able to acquire stock and/or use stud dogs of the leading breeders in Australia, the United States of America and the United Kingdom.

Thank you ….
the late Rhonda Berge Phillips – Lohengrin
Dee Hutchinson (USA) – Rose Farm’s
Wolfgang Schnitzer and partner – Keaton
Moira Sherwood – Imlay
